Curtiss Tomahawk Mk.IIB in 1/72 scale


Plastic model kit of the Curtiss Tomahawk, the first fighters to arrive in Britain during WWII operated in the tactical reconnaissance role and were deemed unsuitable for fighter sweeps into German occupied Europe. Later models incorporated a number of improvements and saw extensive service with the Western Desert Air Force, driving the Italians out of Libya and taking on the newly arrived Messerschmitt's of the Luftwaffe.

Kit has engraved and recessed panel lines, detailed cockpit, optional seated pilot, chin intake, optional cowling flaps, single piece propeller with separate spinner, separate trailing edge flaps, wing and cowling machine guns, optional undercarriage, transparent (canopy, side windows).
