Plastic model kit of the Fouga CM.170 Magister, designed and produced in France in 1956, the Magister became the world's first jet powered basic trainer to enter military service. Made distinctive by its 'butterfly' tail unit it quickly gained widespread acceptance with orders coming from Belgium and Austria while licenced production also took place for the German, Finnish and Israeli Air Forces.
Kit has engraved panel lines with rivets, detailed tandem cockpit, optional seated pilots, single piece canopy, optional undercarriage, wingtip tanks.
Decals and color painting reference for (2) aircraft: Silver Swallows Aerobatic Team, Light Strike Squadron, Aer Chor na hEireann (Irish Air Corps), Casemate Aerodrome, Baldonnel, Eire (Republic of Ireland) 1997 and Bierset Station Flight, Belgium 1983-1984 - inlcudes stencil data.
